December 15, 2016
With a strong career that covers more than two decades in the technology business, including his current position as Data Protection Business Manager for the Minneapolis office of EMC Corporation, obviously Dan Fitzgibbons is a good businessman. As much as he loves his business career, his community and family are even more important. Despite the fact that he grew up in Fargo, North Dakota as the youngest of five siblings, for Dan Fitzgibbons, Minnesota is now home.

Growing up in Fargo, he attended grade school at Holy Spirit School and high school at Shanley High, where he was part of the SandPebbles singing group and he played football, golf and intramural hockey. That said, his love of Minnesota found its roots when he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Administration from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota and then eventually moved to Minneapolis for career reasons. Now a prominent member of the community, Dan lives there with his beautiful wife and two wonderful children. He always wants to give as much as he can to make the community better because his family lives there. That is one reason he helps Minneapolis charities so much, including Loaves and Fishes, which served up more than 450,000 hot meals to the poor in 2015 alone.
